Das Kapital! Seattle's newly elected Socialist advocates Marxist approach

Seattle's got a new kid on the block, and she's a communist devotee.
“The workers should take over the factories, and shut down Boeing’s profit-making machine,” Kshama Sawant told a group of activists in the city’s Westlake Park.  ... She referred to this as “democratic ownership.”
...

She said that once workers take over the plant, they should start building things everyone can use. “We can re-tool the machines to produce mass transit like buses, instead of destructive, you know, war machines,” she told KIRO-TV.
I guess being a politician she knows all about how to "re-tool the machines" to produce products they aren't intended to produce.  I mean really, how different are bombers and busses?

So who is Kshama Sawant?
A former software engineer from India, Sawant became a socialist activist and part-time economics professor in Seattle after emigrating to the United States. She held part-time teaching positions at Seattle Central Community College and Seattle University and was a visiting assistant professor at Washington and Lee University.
Sawant was born to ...a middle class family of the Brahmin caste. Sawant's mother is a retired principal and her father, a civil engineer, was killed by a drunk driver when she was 13. ...she later studied computer science and graduated with a B.Sc from the University of Mumbai in 1994. Sawant married her husband Vivek, an engineer at Microsoft, and moved to the United States. After moving to the United States Sawant decided to abandon the computer engineering field. She began to pursue study in economics due to what she described as her own "questions of economic inequality." She entered the economics program at North Carolina State University where she earned a PhD. Her dissertation was titled Elderly Labor Supply in a Rural, Less Developed Economy. Sawant moved to Seattle in 2006 and, after hearing a speech by a Socialist Alternative organizer, became a socialist. ... Sawant and her husband Vivek are separated.
So what do we have here?  An upper-middle class, highly educated young woman who grew up without a father, who abandoned her productive skills in favor of persuing crusaderism - specifically, she became a self annointed champion of labor.  She had life handed to her on a platter, and it didn't satisfy her, because she wanted to DOOOOO SOMETHING!!!  The Captain knows what I'm talking about.

This woman will change her party afiliation to Democrat and end up a five or six term senator like Feinstein.  Democrats lap this shit up like it's Dom.
